Communication Company has the advantage of management information system, in the last ten years, they have consecutively deployed many systems like ERP, EAM etc. This made a deep influence on company’s management. However, it’s no doubt that there are still some weak points in the management, such as project instruments management is not aligned with fixed, assets management, management processes are divided by departments, iscellaneous system, invalid information, weak in dynamic management. In order to improve such status, we provide a full life cycle fixed asset management solution which combines with GIS system and smart cell-phone function, through discussion of the asset lifecycle management idea and the requirements of PAS55asset management system. This solution in the end fully leverage lean management and improve business benefit for Communication Company.This article is divided into6Parts:Part Ⅰ, the introduction summarized definition of fixed asset and fixed asset management’s significance, mode and tool.Part Ⅱ introduced a well-known, full life cycle fixed asset management system:PAS55.Part Ⅲ discussed business architecture, data architecture, application architecture and technical architecture of Communication Company fixed asset management with EA methodology after basic description of EA method theory, according features of Communication Company asset management.Part Ⅳ took CMCC He Nan branch for example, introduced domestic existence of current problems and weak points in assets management.Part Ⅴ proposed the solution of communication company full life cycle fixed asset management which combined with GIS system and smart cell-phone function, according to current management status, discussed how to involve GIS system architecture and several practical issues we should considered.Part VI prospected GIS system’s application in communication company management.
