Employment is the people’s livelihood; promoting employment is relationship withour social stability and Country’s long-term stability. Real estate is one of humansurvival and development of necessary conditions, it is an important part of human life.Real estate industry is a pillar industry of our country, it plays an important role on thedevelopment of the national economy, and it can promote the development of relatedindustries largely, and thereby bringing social employment of related industries.Therefore, in-depth understanding of the influence of the development of the real estateindustry for increasing social employment can provide the guiding role of policy for thesustainable and healthy development of the real estate industry.This thesis, making quantitative analysis on the real estate industry driving effectof the social employment on the basis of qualitative analysis. First, it describes themeaning and real estate development process, analyzes the real estate industry inChina’s macroeconomic position and the severe employment situation currently facingour country, and further analyzes of the relationship between the Chinese real estateindustry and the social employment. Secondly, with the help of econometric softwareeviews6.0, it does ADF test and Granger causality analysis about the completed housingarea between1984-2013, the real estate industry’s development and social employmentpresents a certain degree of correlation, and real estate industry’s development cancontribute to increase the number of social labor employment numbers. Finally, it takesadvantages of input-output analysis and employment elasticity analyzing the real estateindustry’s ability to absorb the social employment of the year2007and2010, itconcluded the absorbing effect coefficient from their own and related industries. Studieshave shown that most of the real estate industry employment can pull and has led to acertain degree of effect, and to some extent, it acts as a more obvious leading role.
