Research On The Risk Evaluation Of The Logistics Outsourcing Service Providers In The Engineering Material Procurement

Due to competition in the domestic construction market is becoming morecompetitive, requirements of investors about the project management are morestringent. Project management is not just the management of the construction process,but the project to effectively management the entire process from the beginning to theend of the project. Procurement of materials science and management occupies apivotal position. The purchase of materials can ensure good project construction periodand reduce project costs. The contractor does not have the advantage of purchasingmanagement on personnel and equipment. Based on the trend, with the development ofprojects, logistics and engineering plays an increasingly important role. Thedevelopment of the logistics outsourcing is increasingly becoming the focus of thegeneral contractor. The question of how to choose the right logistics service providersin a number of logistics service providers is critical to determine if the logisticsoperation projects are really efficient to the general contractor. Therefore, the projectgeneral contractor in ensuring the construction affected the premise of how to conductscientific evaluation of logistics outsourcing risk and choose an appropriate serviceprovider of logistics outsourcing has become an important issue to be resolved.At first, this article analyzes engineering materials procurement and logisticsoutsourcing related literature on domestic. Then it introduces the theory of engineeringmaterials procurement and logistics outsourcing. It also analyzes the current situationof steel procured about M project and proposes steel procurement logistics outsourcingstrategy. It establishes engineering materials procurement of the logistics outsourcingservice providers risk assessment system to project general contracting model for thestudy. On the base of elaborating on rough set theory and extension set theory, itbuilds on crude set-logistics outsourcing service providers extension of riskassessment model. Finally, it analyzes the five candidates for M project logisticsoutsourcing service provider for risk assessment and proposes risk factors whichshould be an important consideration when selecting outsourcing service providers toverify the feasibility of the model. Meanwhile, it puts forward suggestions andimprovements recommendations of project M for material procurement projects.
