The Construction And Application Of Chinese Gross Domestic Product Data Quality Assessment Model

In recent years, Chinese economic developed rapidly, which caused the attention of theworld, meanwhile the statistical data is a measure of economic development scale and levelwhose quality has become the focus of domestic and foreign related organizations andresearchers. Gross domestic product (GDP) is one of the core of the national economicaccounting index, its data quality widely attention. Based upon predecessors’ research result,this thesis research was done which mainly including the following aspects:Firstly, making a analysis on GDP which includes GDP itself and the growth of GDP.According to GDP itself, with constructing the data deleted model, this paper found thatdifferent accounting methods of GDP balance is beyond a certain range, mainly include thedata of2006,2011and2012; for the growth of GDP, through the semiparametric modelwhich is according to the new economic growth theory, this paper got the data of1999,2006,2009and2011were abnormal and these data was unable to explain Chinese GDP growthreasonably.Secondly, by choosing eight evaluation indexes of28areas which reflect the variousaspects of the economic life, and according to the diagnosis of the fixed effect model withvariable coefficients, this paper found there were19abnormal data through28regions and14years, and number of the abnormal values in2006and2011is in the majority of areas. At thesame time, regional GDP and GDP anomaly of the year is not consistent.Thirdly, according to the spatial characteristics of GDP, this paper found both the relativeand absolute number, the difference of summary data in gross regional product and GDPpresent a growth trend.Overall, according to GDP models, it was obvious that the data of2006and2011wereabnormal; the model in gross regional product found these two years were abnormal in themajority areas; through the spatial characteristics of GDP, this paper found the differencevalues of the two years were also big. Combined with the actual situation of our country, therewere no major events or macroeconomic policy factors which led to an exception occurring tothe economic situation, therefore the data of these two years were abnormal.
