Innovation has become the key to national development and business operation, which is an effective tool to remain competent. As the main part, enterprises are responsible for innovation. But tracing the origin, organization innovation is inseparable from employee innovation. How to stimulate employee innovation and mobilize willingness, what contexts promote innovative behavior are focused by enterprises. In Chinese unique social and cultural context, whether innovation is affected by traditional thinking and organizational Chaxu are worth studying.Most studies on employee innovative behavior are from single perspectives. Literature combined interaction of individual and organization, individual characteristics and environmental features is rare. Besides, studies of Zhongyong thinking and Chaxu climate which are unique Chinese characteristics are also limited. Based on the innovation psychology, ternary interaction theory, social exchange theory, this study analyzes the influence of person-organization fit on employee innovative behavior and moderating effects of Zhongyong thinking and Chaxu climate. The survey of506employees in different levels showed that needs-supplies and demands-abilities fits both have positive impacts on innovative behavior. Zhongyong thinking positively moderates the relationship between two dimensions of fits and innovation. Chaxu climate weakens the influence of demands-abilities fit on employee innovation but has no moderating effects on the relationship of needs-supplies fit and innovative behavior. This paper proposes management recommendations to facilitate individual innovation. Firstly, distribution system should be improved to achieve principle and procedural justice. Then, enterprises should improve assessment and training to enhance person-organization fit. Finally, improve harmonious thinking and change organizational Chaxu pattern.This study extends the research on person-organization fit and employee innovative behavior, and provides a scientific reference for enterprises to create innovation climate, inspire employee innovation and improve organizational innovation performance.
