In recent years, bilateral economic and trade relations have enjoyed rapid development byjoint efforts from China and African countries. While we are pleased to see the steadydevelopment of the Sino-African trade, attention has to be paid to problems in the tradebetween China and Africa, particularly to weaknesses and threats existing in the developmentof trade. Through SWOT analysis, issues such as convergence of China-Africa trade industrialstructure, concentration of trade objects, imbalance of trade, poor conditions of trading partnerbasis, as well as trade disputes, lack of international business talents for Chinese enterprises,low standard of product quality and poor impression of brand names and competition from theWestern capitalist countries, and so on. Therefore, Chinese government should proceed fromthe long-term friendly and cooperative relations with African countries, properly handle theproblems of trade frictions between China-African countries, attach importance to cultivatingindustries in African countries, increase its assistance to African countries, strengthenpropaganda, strongly disprove the malicious slander about the West Africa trade, activelyparticipate in the negotiation with some African countries for a solution to China marketeconomy status, set up specialized research institutions on the economic and tradedevelopment between China and African countries, increase imports from Africa and narrowthe trade surplus, and rectify export order, encourage enterprises to increase investment inAfrican countries, encourage domestic financing, Banks, insurance to give more support forforeign trade enterprises in China, encourage domestic enterprises to actively respond toanti-dumping charge, provide general guidance for enterprises; enterprises have to improvetheir product quality, pay more attention to branding, observe trade order, improve their ownquality, and safeguard their legitimate rights and interests, develop foreign trade personnel,reasonably choose the right market, and actively fulfill their corporate socialresponsibilities,eventually turn the table and seize every opportunity to improve Sino-AfricaTrade.
