Research On Improvement Strategy Of Purchasing Management Of DC Company

In recent years, the great development of China’s electric power industry for insulator manufacturing industry has brought great opportunities and challenges, the insulator manufacturing industry is becoming increasingly fierce, the business environment is more complex. DC is a leading domestic line porcelain insulator manufacturing enterprises, it is facing a serious problem of competitive advantage gradually weakened, the profit rate decreased year by year and other problems. Procurement management is an important part in supply chain management. In the new environment, procurement management is of great significance for enterprise to keep competitive advantage.In this paper, bring into play purchasing management theory under the mode of SCM, research on DC’s current purchasing management system and processes, to solve the problems of purchasing management, help to improve the work efficiency of DC procurement, reduce procurement costs, so as to enhance the core competitiveness of DC.The current situation of purchasing management of DC as object of study, first introduced the basic theory of supply chain management and purchasing management, and the strategy of purchasing and supplier management in detail. Then this paper takes DC company as research sample, in view of the present situation of purchase management and existing problems, combined with the enterprise’s own characteristic, analyzes various theories and tools, such as TCO theory and ABC classification method, optimizing purchasing process, reducing the purchase cost, and management of suppliers, improve the purchasing management of DC from these aspects.DC is a manufacturing enterprise, problems in purchasing management are representative. I hope this analysis of these problems and the corresponding solutions, there will be some help to other manufacturing enterprises.
