With the accelerating pace of global economic integration, espe-cially after China’s accession to WTO, China’s construction machinery industry, the market environment is very big changes. Manifested in two aspects, the first aspect is foreign construction machinery manufacturers have entered the Chinese market, making the domestic market more competitive but also accelerated the internationalization of the domestic market; second aspect is China’s reform and opening up, construction machinery industry booming, machinery production capacity is rapidly increasing, but in the international market, the competitiveness of do-mestic enterprises is not enough, the overall strength of the weak. This shows that China’s construction machinery enterprises both in the do-mestic market or in the foreign markets are facing a severe test, moreo-ver, China’s construction machinery business only "going out" in order to have a more long-term development, in order to have a place in the international area. It systematically analyzes the development of China’s con-struction machinery industry and engineering machinery company, the development of China’s construction machinery industry showed wavy development trend, particularly affected by the global financial crisis, the domestic market has been in a depressed state, from the corporate level to explore the crux where has profound practical and theoretical value. This essay argues that on small and medium sized engineering enterprises, the only way is to find the path and strategy of international operations, to actively participate in international competition, expand exports, increase overseas market share. Especially like Ca-long and other small and medium enterprises have not formed an international business strategy with its own characteristics, is still in the exploratory stage. This essay attempts to analyze the theory of international business, domestic and foreign enterprises to fully draw on the experience of in-ternational business to Japan’s Komatsu Group and Zoomlion typical case, for example, such as start, combined with the practice of interna-tional operations Ca-long proposed for small and medium enterprises in international business strategy.
