Research On The Strategic Development Of Bank Of BC Sichuan Province During "the Twelfth Five-Year Plan"

The year2011is the first year that China launched its Twelfth Five-Year Program. The financial industry will be faced with important development opportunity and the traditional commercial banking will have a brilliant future. Besides, with the further accelerating financial innovation, it is inevitable to develop diversification strategy. It also will bring new opportunity for integration development at home and abroad.In the context, the author intends to conduct a monographic study on the development strategy of Bank of BC, Sichuan Province. The purpose is to clear up the business development direction, solve development problems and improve the development strategy and measure. In addition to these, it will not only help our branch take Challenges and seize opportunities but also enhance core competitiveness and value-adding capacity in the future with complex situation.The paper mainly applies the case study of empirical research, integrating the empirical and normative research. Based on the management of international advanced bank and related industry, the banking strategy was divided into three stages. Firstly, the problem that where our bank is confirmed. It need to analysis the outside environment, interval facts and the competitive position of our bank in the present situation. Secondly, the question that where our bank will go was answered and the development direction was set. Finally, the way to there was confirmed. It needs to determine detailed implementation process of the strategy goal. In the process, the implementation mode and risks prevention practices of every industry strategy should be set so as to avoid that implementation process deviates from the strategy. It can ensure the strategy carried out effectively. Beyond that, the problems that should be careful in the process of making plan and the innovations of the paper were further summarized.
