Research On The Earnings Quality Evaluation Of Listed Companies On Chianext

Earnings information as an important part of accounting information, has both quantityand quality characteristics, but for a long time people tend to focus on its quantity features andignore its quality features.As a result of a series of exposed financial fraud cases, peoplegradually realize the importance of the accounting earnings. After brewing Chianext for manyyears, finally boarded the stage of history in2009. Due to Chianext has just established, therules and regulations is not perfect, the companies are mostly in the start period with high risk,so the evaluation of earnings quality of listed companies on Chianext has very importanttheoretical and practical significance.This Paper selects172listed companies of Chianext as a research sample for theempirical analysis,choosing3years data from2010to2012.First of all, on the basis ofliterature review,select23commonly used indicators to evaluate the earnings quality; thenaccording to the building principle of index system and data can be acquired to filter theearnings quality evaluation indicators; and considering Chianext high innovative influence onearnings quality, so adding the characteristics of innovative,eventually completed theconstruction of quality evaluation index system in this paper;Finally, selecting four companiesin Chianext to verify indicators.After the construction of index system, this paper uses the factor analysis method toevaluate the quality of Chianext,evaluation results show that the overall quality of listedcompanies is low, the proportion of the excellent and good companies in the total sample islow, and the quality of the earnings of different sample companies also show greatdifference;the10selected industries are approximately the same rank,earnings qualityperformance of the information technology industry, culture industry and business serviceindustry are good,but the performance of the wholesale and retail industry,constructionindustry and ecological economic industry are not good;earnings quality has improved everyyear, especially during the period of2010to2011;finally,the paper uses the average groupingcomparison and case to test the effectiveness of the evaluation results.
