Strategic Research On Building Hunchun Free Trade Zone

For developing countries, the free trade zone can usually raise the export, improve the trade condition, attract foreign direct investment, and make the introducing of advanced technology and management easily so as to achieve the aimwhich can promot their own country’s economic. The development of national free trade area is still at the beginning stage. As the window of opening to the outside world in Tumenjiang Area, Hunchun is an important open city along borders in Northeast Asia economic circle. It plays a decisive role in strengthening the regional economic cooperation in northeast Asia. Hunchun have the basic advantages and the prerequisite to establish free area. But it still not perfect in theinfrastructure and some mating functions. It lack for a clear development goalsand industrial layout, product positioning, and even the target industries. h The institutional system which support the establishing of free trade area has not beenestablished. All of these limit the development of free trade area. As the starting point this paper based on the feasibility of establishing the Hunchun free tradearea. and analyzes the current situation of economic development and the SWOT of establishing a free trade area in Hunchun. The paper also put forward thestrategic thought and and the strategic location of establishing a free trade zonein Hunchun. The paper put forward the corresponding countermeasures in safeguarding the policy in free trade,management and operation, management measure.ect. The purpose of this paper is to provide the feasible development ideas ofdevelopment strategy of hunchun free-trade area, and hope to provide some beneficial references in formulating plans for the development of free trade zone bythe government in the futureThis paper mainly consists of five partsThe first part includes the research background, the research significance, theresearch status, and introduces the research contents, the research methods and innovation points of the paper.The second part mainly introduces the development status quo of Hunchun, and theanalysis of its macro industrial environment and industry status quo of Jilin. That is toprovide strong basis for the further development of free trade zone.The third part is about the strategic thought, the strategic positioning and thestrategic target of Hunchun free trade zone. Make some mid-term development planningand long-term development planning of Hunchun free trade zone.The fourth part is the introduction of the development strategy，including theindustry planning principles, the industry function layout planning and thedetermination of the target industry. And then this part contains the SWOT analysis ofplanning strategies of developing industry. It also has reference to improve the operationof the free trade zone.The fifth part introduces the guarantee measures on the development of Hunchunfree trade zone. It consists of policy guarantee, management and operation, managementmeasure and so on. We expect the government can improve the basic facilities’construction in free trade zone and make use of its regional advantage, resource andpolicy to make the economy of Hunchun, even the Northeast Asia, have a furtherdevelopment.
