Since the1980s, service trade liberalization under the framework of the Free Trade Area has become the trend of world economic and trade development. Following the US and Europe and other developed economies, developing countries also actively participate in international service trade liberalization. Trade liberalization in Free Trade Area has become China’s strategic choice to promote the development of trade in services. In recent10years, China’s service trade liberalization within the framework of the FTA also made remarkable achievements, making great contribution for the regional economic integration in East Asia, Southeast Asia, as well as in the Asia-Pacific, laid the foundation for the realization of the global economic integration.At first, this paper expounds the development of service trade and service trade liberalization trend, both the present situation of world service trade development and the trend of countries to actively promote regional service trade liberalization, also covers the process of service trade liberalization. At present stage, free trade area is the main way of regional integration of trade in services in our country. Second, compare and analysize the service trade arrangements in China’s north-to-south, south-to-south and to-countries group Free Trade Area, making deep study on the representative service trade agreement in China-New Zealand free trade agreement, China-Pakistan free trade area agreement, China-ASEAN free trade area agreement with respect to its service trade openness of depth, breadth, and compares the commonness and difference analysis, and compare with GATS, summarized the commonness among the three service trade agreement in a form, the applicable scope, covers the same content as well as the GATS+features; in the other side, they are asymmetry of openness and uneven in open department, and analysize the reasons behind:mainly decided by political economy, service trade competitiveness and regional arrangements motivation factors. Finally, summarize the above comparative analysis in China-New Zealand,China-Pakistan, China-ASEAN free trade area service trade arrangements, summed up the reference and suggestion from the type of the north-to-south Free Trade Area (with Japan, South Korea, Norway, Australia, etc is negotiating or are in the research of the Free Trade Area), south-to-south Free Trade Area (India, etc.), with the national group Free Trade Area (South African Customs Union, the Gulf Cooperation Council, etc.):we should always uphold the political and economic principle, give more attention to steadily increasing free trade area service trade partners, the first choice are the ones with good relationship to China’s politics and economy, and service highly complementary in trade countries, second choice is cooperate to axis countries, strengthening the cooperation with other countries, especially China’s main trading partners services; In addition, our country should actively explore the best model in service trade arrangements and carefully select service commitment in trade arrangement way, not limited to use positive list of promises, also can try to use the negative list. Pay more attention to the selection of partners and research competitiveness of service trade level, gradually open service trade, perfect the content and form in service trade arrangements, and further promote the process of regional service trade liberalization; Finally, we will improve the mechanism in our country service trade arrangements, including dispute settlement mechanism and emergency safeguard mechanism.Innovation point of this paper is to compare and analysis the service trade agreement in China-New Zealand free trade area (north-to-south), China-Pakistan free trade area (south-to-south) and China-ASEAN free trade area (to-national group FTA), and compared with GATS, it is rarely in the existing literature. In this paper, the deficiency is the lack of service trade data between China and its partners, without the perspective of empirical analysis of the influence of the free trade area of service trade liberalization.
