Happiness issues of IT R&D employee have become a hot topic which are concerned by business and academia community in recent years. IT R&D stuffs often use "code peasant","code livestock" to mock themsleves.Their work satisfaction, life satisfaction and happiness in general is relatively low, and the enterprises’human resource management practices for IT R&D staff is also not satisfactory. Previous studies on happiness mostly started up from happiness influence factors, mainly focus on the impact of demographic variables and personality and other subjective factors on happiness. Although studies have begun to study the impact of human resource management practices on happiness, but there is no in-depth study on the mechanism of action between them.Differences in employment type will also make significant differences on well-being of the staff. According to Perceived Organizational Support and Social Exchange Theory, to make the IT R&D employees put forward positive evaluation on work and organization and to improve their well-being, the organization must firstly concern the interests of employees, pay attention to employee value. Accordingly, the study introduces Perceived Organizational Support as a variable and by constructing the relational model between human resource management practices, Perceived Organizational Support and IT R&D stuff’s Subjective Well-being, focuses on the action principle how human resource management practices influence IT R&D staff’s Subjective Well-being. The study tries to examine whether different human resource management practices will produce different effect on IT R&D staff’s Subjective Well-being. Finally, some human resource management practices are proposed for IT R&D stuff according to the study.The sampling subject of this study is the IT R&D stuff. The research focuses on the action principle how human resource management practices influence IT R&D staffs SWB. The Human Resource Management Practices includes four dimensions, Training and Development, Participation in decision making, Team Salaries and Internal Opportunity. SWB contains Job Satisfaction, Life Satisfaction, and Positive Affect. Through research on253IT R&D employees from high-tech companies in Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Changsha, Hangzhou, Chengdu and other areas and the use of statistical software for effective data analysis, the study shows that:(1) Age, education level, income, work experience have a significant effect on SWB, gender did not have a significant impact on SWB.(2)The four dimensions of Human Resource Management Practices have positive influence on perceived organizational support, SWB, job satisfaction and life satisfaction.(3) Training and Development, Participation in decision making, Internal Opportunities for three HRM practices have positive impact on the positive emotion of IT R&D stuff, but the Team Salary did not have a positive impact on the positive emotion of IT R&D stuff.(4) Perceived Organizational Support can partially or completely mediate the relationship between the four dimensions of human resource management and subjective well-being, job satisfaction, life satisfaction.(5) Perceived Organizational Support did not play an intermediary role between the Team Salary and positive emotions.
