Whilst the economic globalisation and the development of international division of labour are accelerating, performance display, the high-tech production of the surging IT industry, have caught more and more attentions from enterprises and individuals, resulting in the increasingly violent competitions in the international market. H is one of the brands that are stranded with such situation and it is facing more as a newly-built company after being internationally reconstructed. How to adjust and optimise the strategic management? How to improve the product quality and satisfy clients? How to occupy more market share? How to lead this industry? To find the answers to these questions will benefit H profoundly. But among all of these questions, the collaboration pattern with OEM deserves the first priority to solve.Based upon the relevant researches on OEM model, supply chain management theories, global value chain theories, business process theories and supply chain relationship theories, this article mainly analyses the strategic collaborations between H and international OEMs and supplies. It will propose critical analyses on the existing problems within the OEM model. The characteristics will be concluded whereas some suggestions and advice will be put forward toward these problems and the sustainable development.Firstly, the analysis starts from a global perspective, including the market pattern, growing trend, product category, manufacturing characteristics, with a brief introduction to the manufacturing pattern of Performance Displays at H.Secondly, the analysis of the existing problems of H’s Performance Displays ranges from the single mode of suppliers, operational management, logistics management, improvement of quality, control of new product development to execution of technology transfer and the weaknesses will be revealed consequently.Finally, the conclusion contains some specific suggestions in order to better the problems listed above and strategic policies for sustainable development.
