Since Reform and Opening-up, Chinese Economic has maintained a miracle of30-year’s growing in a row, however, this type of "Resource-depended Economicgrowing" can not be sustainable. In order to achieve the transition of economic as well as growing type, we need not only to put more effort on the construction of economic system, but also to improve the efficiency and technical standard. As a result, Total Factor Productivity has been the core in research of modern economic growing type. More and more evidence has proved that Opening-up achieves a lot more in promoting technical update and improving efficiency. This essay is to study the relationship between Opening-up and Total Factor Productivity on the basis of Inter-provincial data.In order to describe this situation more clearly, firstly, we need to definite Opening-up, and analysis all the related data from1985to2010; secondly, use DEA-Malquist index to estimate Total Factor Productivity of all our provinces, get detailed information of TFP in different time and different areas, this is the point; at last, depend on all above, build proper measurement model and make sure the effect of Opening-up on TFP, get detailed data which can prove that Opening-up improves TFP, at the same time analysis the influence mechanism between Opening-up and Total Factor Productivity.
