The Present Situation Problems And Countermeasures Of Government Regulation Of Chinese Drug Safety

The problem of drug safety is not only an important issue of people’s health andlife safety concerns, it is one of the important factors of economic development andsocial stability. All countries in the world attach great importance to drug safety issues,especially the experience from the previous kinds of adverse drug events. The existingresearch results show that, be too numerous to enumerate for drug quality unqualifiedcause damage to human health or death. As time goes on, the public and medicalworkers are paying increasingly attention to the incidence and mortality of drugs. Atpresent, there are still many deficiencies of government regulation of Chinese drugsafety, such as price regulation, market access, laws and regulations system,intermediary organizations, administration law enforcement, and sector regulation. Thereason involves three aspects including regulation subject, regulation object, andregulation system. To improve the Chinese drugs supervision and administration system,the first step is to establish a scientific concept and have an accurate positioning, thesecond is to adjust the regulation thought and transform the regulation pattern, the thirdis to emphasize the key points and put the regulation into practice, the fourth is todeepen the system reform and optimize system guarantee, and the fifth is to strengthenthe infrastructure construction and improve technology level.
