With the rapid development of economic globalization, the exchange rate hasbecome an important variable of social economic operation, every hour and momentinfluences the national economy structure adjustment and the everyday life of thepeople. Whether the exchange rate to rise, or fall, is the relationship between a stateeconomy development trend, the relationship between the residents in all aspects oflife. In recent years, the continued appreciation of RMB exchange rate, making theresidents has undergone great changes in purchasing power, finance and investmentand outbound tourism etc.. It can be said that the exchange rate changes with theinhabitants of the vital interests are closely related, the exchange rate issue has beennot only an economic problem, is a hot topic in our daily life have to pay attention topeople’s livelihood. In view of this, this paper focuses on the current RMB exchangerate appreciation of the situation, the system analysis the influence of exchange rate onemployment structure of the consumption level of residents and residents, socialeconomy, and in the light of the exchange rate policy adjustments to our suggestions,provide reference for the residents how to deal with the RMB exchange rate changes,all has the vital significance in theory and practice.This paper is composed of introduction, basic concepts and related theories ofexchange rate, China’s exchange rate system changes and the impact of exchange ratemovements on the residents and government, foreign trade industry and residentsshould respond to exchange rate fluctuation Countermeasures of four chapters. Thefirst chapter is the thesis introduction, the rest of the three chapter is the main body ofthe thesis.
