Research On The Effect Of Social Pension On Residents’ Consumption Structure

Pension insurance as the main content of social security, playing a very importantrole to maintain the social stability and development Since the establishment of townworker endowment insurance in1951, pension insurance system in our country hasexperienced more than60years of development, has realized the full coverageinstitutional, and every one of our country can be involved in the correspondinggroups of social pension insurance system. At the same time the government in orderto narrow the gap between the level of all kinds of endowment insurance system, andto establish a more equitable and sustainable endowment security system, introducingmany relevant policy advices, this means that the endowment insurance system inChina will toward the more perfect and reasonable direction.At present, the research results about the problems existing in the endowmentsecurity system, and the reforming trend of the endowment security system have beenvery rich, and the function of social pension security system has also been widelyunderstood. As with economic security as the main form for security, endowmentinsurance’s economic function also gradually caused the scholar’s interests, in recentyears, the studies of the economic effects for endowment insurance also in deepening,But the research about the effect of social pension on residents’ consumption structureis still less. This paper use the methods of theoretical analysis, statistical descriptionand empirical research to study the relationship between the pension expenditure andthe consumption structure, and puts forward relevant countermeasures. This article isdivided into five chapters, the main content of each chapter is as follows:The first chapter: Introduction, first introduced the research background, theselected topic reason, the selected topic significance, then generalizes the relatedliterature, at last introduced the innovation and the insufficiency. The second chapter: Introduce the related contents of pension insurance, includingthe origin and development of endowment insurance, the country’s multi trackspension plan system created and reform, the economic effect of endowment insurancesystem, etc.The third chapter: the paper introduces the consumption structure, the influencingfactors of the consumption structure, and the changing of consumption structure inour country nearly10years, then points out the main characteristics of theconsumption structure in our country and the existing problems at the same timeintroduces the urban and rural consumption structure characteristics, existingproblems and development trends in JiLin province.The fourth chapter: the empirical analysis about the effect of social pension onresidents’ consumption structure in JiLin province, first of all we do a simpledescription on data, then discusses the principle of model selection, finally using fixedeffect model to simulate the related data statistics, and made a thorough analysis ofmeasurement results.Chapter5: conclusion, combined with the result of empirical analysis, puttingforward some advice about how to adjust the pensions, optimize the consumptionstructure.
