Social responsibility information disclosure has always been focused by domestic and foreign academic; many factors affect the social responsibility information disclosure. Currently, Research mainly start from the company’s characteristics, the corporate governance structure and other factors departure, less consideration about the background of our unique system and affect political and economic environment, so it’s necessary to study the dynamic of social responsibility information disclosure on the background of our economic system. Will political association, As an alternative to the informal system, affect the company’s social responsibility information disclosure,which are to be tested in the Evidence. This paper are for further research on the company’s social responsibility information disclosure motivation, and provide empirical support for how to improve the level of corporate social responsibility information disclosure in China.In this paper, Samples are from the A-share listed companies which disclosed the Social Responsibility Report from 2008 to 2012, investigating the influence of the political relevance of social responsibility information disclosure, distinguishing the differences in different ownership properties. In addition, this paper analysis that how political association impact listed corporate social responsibility information disclosure, considering the market process, The study found that:(1) political association will promote the social responsibility information disclosure standards;(2) the conclusion still holds in state-controlled listed companies, while the non-state-controlled listed companies’ the level of social responsibility information disclosure only effected by the level of political association, neither effected by the presence of political association nor the proportion of executives who have political connections. In addition, the result of the robustness test after considering the degree of market development shows that the lower the degree of market areas, the higher promoting effect on the social responsibility information disclosure level of listed companies by the presence of political association and the level of political association. In contrast, there is no significant effect in the higher the degree of market areas. To this end, China needs to further improve the social responsibility information disclosure system, give full play to the supervisory role of the government, the Commission and other departments; at the same time, the listed company itself should enhance the awareness of corporate social responsibility, and actively disclose social responsibility information. However, government stakeholders and investors should also guard against the possibility of political association will disclose social responsibility information as the company’s strategic choice.
