The knowledge workers have been the main contributors to the profits of enterprises with their knowledge in the era of knowledge economy. It turns as important as increasing positive performance that reducing the counterproductive workplace behavior to decrease negative performance. Therefore, this paper will study that whether person-environment fit has effected on knowledge workers’ counterproductive workplace behavior with the empirical method. In order to put the research into practice, this paper will divide person-environment fit into person-organization fit, person-vocation fit, person-job fit, person-superior fit and person-group fit; also, knowledge workers’ counterproductive workplace behavior will be divided into knowledge workers’ organization to counterproductive workplace behavior and knowledge workers’ interpersonal to counterproductive workplace behavior.In the first place, these hypotheses are built and the corresponding model is constructed after reading papers and analyzing information. After that, these hypotheses built will be tested according to empirical analysis based on the data collected by questionnaire. Those conclusions are drawn based on the empirical research:Firstly, all of the demographic variables have nothing to do with the dependent variables except age. Secondly, person-environment fit predict knowledge workers’ counterproductive behavior and both of its dimension variables. Thirdly, person-organization fit, person-job fit and person-group fit have effect on knowledge workers’ counterproductive workplace behavior; and person-group fit performs the most significantly followed by person-organization fit and person-job fit. Forthly, person-organization fit, person-job fit and person-group fit predict knowledge workers’ organization to counterproductive workplace behavior; person-organization fit and person-group fit predict knowledge workers’ interpersonal to counterproductive workplace behavior. According to the research, this paper gives some advice about management and prospects.
