The research of human resources management and core competitiveness of enterprise prevails both in western practice and academic study since 1980 s. After 1990 s,western scholars focus on the relationship between human resource management and corporate performance, which turns out a statistically positive correlation. A effective human resource management system, emphasizes employee skills, commitment and involvement opportunities, it is also known as the " high performance work systems(HPWS) ", "high commitment work systems ", "high involvement work systems ", "Best Human Resource Management practice " and so on.Chinese researchers have also developed a series of empirical study regarding a high-performance work systems and firm performance in Chinese enterprises at the beginning of the new century, and they find that some of the Western high-performance work practices and firm performance are positively related, while the others have no significant effects. Lots of empirical studies show that, the specific contents of high-performance work practices should vary with different political backgrounds and management situations. Although it’s being started for just few years, enthusiasm and serious attitude lead a productive and valuable research results in domestic researches. They compare Chinese and Western high-performance work systems empirically, and also, a new construction method of high-performance human resource management system has been innovatively put forward, which is an important guide for the Chinese enterprises in the period of economies transforming.Based on the characteristics of Chinese enterprises and the deficiency of infrastructure management during transition period, we apply research results to the company’s high human resources management practices – to built Yuanrun performance work systems. In this paper, according to the background of Yuanrun company and the dilemma faced by the company, we analyze the features of group, industrial scale, organizational structure, competitive strategies, staff quality and level of human resources management. And combined the research of high performance work systems with survey of 44 staff, we determine the content of high-performance work systems of the company, and propose eight dimensions of the system to build a high performance management system for human resources of Yuan Run company. We analyze different types of high-performance characteristics of human resource management practices based on two completely different types of industries, which is Yuan Run company’s seal elements production and real estate investments, it reflects longitudinal and transverse matching feature of high performance work systems. We hope this research could be a reference for Yuan Run company or human resource management activities for similar enterprise.
