Chengdu Wisdom City Construction Case Research

Smart city is a new field of research with the progress of information technology and the rapid development of the city, which was favored by many domestic and foreign city managers in recent year. In 2012, with the high speed of city construction, 26 cities will start their wisdom construction, in order to promote the city’s intelligent transformation. The ministry focus on urban construction in wisdom city construction and started work in 2012. In September 2013, has announced the two batch of 193 pilot. According to date, the pilot involved nearly 2600 key projects, the total amount of investment exceeds trillions of yuan. On August 22, 2014, housing and urban-rural development, ministry of science and technology jointly issued “notice of pilot implementation of national wisdom city in 2014”. More than 100 cities government expressed a clear intention to declare the third batch of pilot cities wisdom so far.In this paper, from the concept, content, basic theory of Chengdu wisdom city construction, taking Chengdu wisdom city construction as an example; analysis some achievements of Chengdu wisdom city construction, such as transportation, logistics and other aspects of society; I analyzed the basic elements and the government responsibility combined with the case of Chengdu wisdom construction, mainly from the talent, technology, finance and financial aspects. at the same time, analyzed the government function in these areas. Secondly, summarized the successful cases of wisdom city construction and inspired by them, according to the present situation of Chengdu wisdom city construction, I developed a construction model of Chengdu, which have practical significance. Finally, a summary of the article, putting forward the deficiencies and areas for improvement.
