Multiple Construction Of Affordable Housing Financing Mechanism And Mode Selection Research

According to China’s housing security project which is occurred in the Twelfth Five-Year Plan,our country will achieve the goal of affording 36million units of affordable housing, while which will need 5 trillion RMB as the construction funds. However, in the reality, the difficulty and narrow channels of financing affordable housing made a huge gap of construction funds. Then it also hindered the construction progress of affordable housing. In this paper, the author mainly research from the perspective of real estate investment trusts (REITs), summarize the development experience related to REITs at home and abroad and learn from our existing affordable housing REITs mode. On the basis of the above research, the author put forward innovative ideas about financing construction of affordable housing in China.
