Distribution is one part of logistics system in many aspects, and it is the only form of superior and subordinate goods circulation. However, Chinese logistics started late, especially fruits and vegetables agricultural logistics development situation is not optimistic. On account of the situation that fruits and vegetables are often required delivery timeliness and freshness, so the fruit and vegetable distribution radius can only cover those places that near the distribution center. Meanwhile, since the objects who are served by fruit and vegetable distribution often has a emerged many varieties, small batch, batch less phenomenon, resulting in a distribution network that is more complex, fragmented and difficult to plan than the general ones. It is even more highlights the urgency of choosing the logistics distribution center with appropriate number and size at which can cover such areas as market, supermarket chains and other aspects of the outlets. The aim is not just to improve the distribution efficiency of the fruit and vegetable agricultural products, and also save the whole logistics cost, what’s more, it has the instructive meaning which can optimize the entire distribution sectors involved in the underlying distribution and the center point of the election-related supply and demand address other issues.It has been clear about the importance of distribution center location for the entire logistics system through understanding the related theory of fruits and vegetables logistics. First of all, to make a series of assumptions on fruit and vegetable distribution center siting is necessary, these reasonable assumptions are based on the siting process of general logistics distribution center, and focus on the number of delivery and demand points, the relationship between the upper and lower coverage, residents convenience and total project costs. On the basis of these considerations, to create mathematical models according to minimizing the total cost as its objective function about distribution centers siting of the common vegetable produce multi-site. After giving mathematical description and feature classification to the problems which integrates the LAP and VRP, on the basis of modern logistics operations research, this paper provides solutions to solve fruit and vegetable LRP problems by using technologies such as software TransCAD for non-programmers and the discovery of new technologies.In order to study the two-tiered distribution site optimization problems, this paper uses the bottom-up way that in accordance with the ‘customers(residents)â†'supply and demand points(market or supermarket)â†'Distribution Center(warehouse)’ to study instead a top-down hierarchy way after analyzing the characteristics of fruit and vegetable logistics and LRP problems. First of all, to make statistical analysis of supply and demand for the facility specific location point layer through variance analysis and the use of SPSS in K- means clustering method, that is required to determine the distribution center location and the customer base whom are served by distribution. Then in allusion to the fruit and vegetable logistics features, the paper solves transportation optimization route that distribution center to the different points of supply and demand, and gets the optimal distribution center facility location by the principle which minimizes the cost and using the logistics module in simulation software TransCAD with LRP thought.
