A Study On The Service Trade Cooperation Between China And Kazakhstan

Thanks to the geographical advantages and the high complementarity in the field of economic and trade, China and Kazakhstan, which is the largest and the most economically developed country in the five central Asian, have maintained close economic ties. However, in most cases, the form of trade activity is given priority to with border trade in goods, trade items is relatively single, lack of high value-added commodities trading.With the development of world economy and the adjustment of industrial structure, trade in goods can not meet the world’s green and efficient requirements of economic development while the trade in services play more and more important role in the field of world trade with low energy consumption, less carbon pollution, high added value.China is also keeping up with the pace of the world, committed to the development of trade in services to enhance the competitiveness of our economy and to make our country from a big economy to powerful economy, from a manufacturing economy to service economy. It also begins to rationalize the diversified structure of trade between China and Kazakhstan, as well as the form of trade tends to be diversified. In addition, the trade center gradually turns to the third industry with high added value, especially to the field of trade in services.In this paper, firstly we narrate the situation and characteristics of global service trade cooperation, under this big background, we introduce the service trade cooperation between China and Kazakhstan and the necessity and the basis of their respective development status and characteristics of the service industry. On this basis we select four relatively important trade areas between China and Kazakhstan--transportation, tourism, finance, communication to make analysis, then we focus on the competitive and complementary of their trade in services, finally, we put forward some corresponding countermeasures and suggestions that can promote the development of trade cooperation between the two sides on the basis of analysis different factors that affect their trade in services.
