The economic development model of low carbon has become an inevitable trend in the future. Enterprises,which is excessive consumption and excessive emissions, has a bad effect on environment.Their behavior of environmental protection also arose the concern of the community.The paper research the factors that influence low-carbon behavior in Hunan Province.Summrazing the literature of low-carbon behavior and low-carbon information disclosure.Describing the situation of the low-carbon information disclosure and deducing the influence factors of low-carbon behavior.The paper selects Annual report and Social responsibility report of A-share listed companies from 2009 to 2013 in Hunan Province,using index to quantify the low-carbon behavior of enterprises.Using multiple regression model,we research the impact of firm performance upon low-carbon index.The hypothesis of factors include the size of listed companies, profitable firms, capital composition, state-owned company, polluting industries and registration.The conclusion of the study shows that polluting industries and the size of listed companies are related to low-carbon index. Moreover, profitable firms,capital composition and state-owned company are positive correlation to low-carbon index,but it is not significantly. Furthermore,there are negative correlation between registration and low-carbon index,but it is not significantly.This paper also advises that government should enhance the policy for relevant support,and strengthen the monitory forces,enterprises should help build low-carbon culture positively,enhance the creativity and collaboration of communication,The public should increase the environmental awareness and join in the movement of environmental protection.
