Study On The Coupling Relationship Of The Fragile Ecological Environment And Poverty In Guizhou Province

Based on the systems theory, PPE vicious cycle theory and the theory of sustainable development, this paper analyzes the coupling relationship between fragile ecological environment and poverty of Guizhou Province. Under the guidance of the theory, it constructs a comprehensive evaluation index system of Guizhou fragile ecological environment and poverty introducing the case of Guizhou province. This paper studies the coupling relationship of the fragile ecological environment and poverty from the view of both evolution of Guizhou in 1998 to 2013 and spatial distribution of nine prefectures of Guizhou in 2011, respectively. The specific method is to set up a measure model consisting of fragile ecological environment and poverty,and gives the classification system and criterion of coupling system, which helps to classify the results type, and analyze the results.The results show that: from the timing aspects of evolution, the degree of coupling between fragile ecological environment and poverty are relatively stable in Guizhou Province of 1998 to 2013, which shows fragile ecological environment and poverty are in antagonistic period, but the coordination is in the upward trend. The higher synergy between the two indicating that Guizhou Province gradually improves the ecological environment and the economy. From the aspects of spatial distribution,the fragile ecological environment and poverty are at the middle level coupling degree of the nine prefectures in Guizhou Province, and according to the degree of coordination they can be divided into three categories prefectures. Liupanshui City and Bijie City with rich resources which located in the western half are in a low degree of coordination that indicating a lower synergy effects between environmentaland economic development; the most areas of Guizhou including Anshun City,Tongren City, Qianxinan, Qiandongnan and Qiannan are in moderate coordination,indicating whether the ecological environment and economic development are in the middle level; Guiyang City, centrally located and the northern part Zunyi City are in a highly coordinated, indicating a higher overall synergy between ecological environment and economic development.Finally, this paper proposes some ideas and modes to improve the ecological environment and promote the development of economy including interactive ecological protection, ecological agriculture, ecological industry, eco-tourism,radiating pattern, and then gives relevant suggestions.
