The Research On The Performance Of Social Responsibility About Chinese Listed Food Manufacturing Enterprises

At present, the situation of Chinese food manufacturing industry is not optimistic, food manufacturing enterprises are lack of social responsibility awareness, it leads to frequent occurrence of food safety problems. Moreover, consumers lose confidence on domestic food, so it is very urgent for us to research social responsibility fulfillment situation of Chinese food manufacturing industry. Through researching the performance of social responsibility about Chinese listed food manufacturing enterprises, this paper attempts to improve the situation of fulfilling social responsibility in Chinese food manufacturing industry, thus to promote the healthy development of Chinese food manufacturing industry.This article adopts the method of industry analysis and makes some researches about social responsibility performance based on the characteristics of Chinese food manufacturing industry and the theory of social responsibility related to Chinese listed food manufacturing enterprises.Besides, the paper analyzes the performance of several Chinese listed food manufacturing enterprises in the protection of stakeholder interests through corporate social responsibility standards and principles. Moreover, it is concluded that the following problems exist in Chinese food manufacturing enterprises. At first, Chinese food manufacturing enterprises do not take appropriate measures to protect the interests of stakeholders; Secondly, most enterprises care about the supplier’s obligations, while less enterprises care about suppliers’ interests; Finally,though Chinese food manufacturing enterprises take many measures to protect the interests of consumers, it has no effect. Besides, the enterprises are lack of safety awareness and ability of handling with the crisis. They are unwilling to disclose negative information about the food. In the end, combined with the characteristics of Chinese food manufacturing, this paper puts forward some suggestions from the three aspects of the enterprises, the industry and the government.
