With the improvement of people’s living standard, cars have gradually evolved from luxuries to general vehicles. Under the pressure of the environment, the development of green cars has become one of the ways to reduce air pollution from car exhaust. However, the cost of green cars is higher than normal cars, so they should pay a higher cost to buy a green cars and enjoy the same environment with the result of free riding. In order to promote the purchase of green cars, it has a great significance to reduce the free riding behavior in purchasing of green cars.The government and companies have done great job in propagating green cars in order to relieve the pressure of pollution and energy problems. This paper has analyzed the magnitude of propaganda, the propaganda of subsidy policies on green cars under different framing effects and the propaganda proportion of green cars in comparing different social information. The paper eliminates the impact of variables in the experiment by analyzing the data, which is getting by z-tree software and using Mann-Whitney test to test the non-parametric of two independent samples. The paper also uses Least-squares regression method of matlab. We get the following conclusions.First, free riding behavior is affected by the magnitude of propaganda of green cars. Second, free riding behavior varies as the framing effect. Third, under the different social information publicity People will change the free riding behavior. Last, the free riding behavior can be decreased effectively by propagating properly, earning framing effect and propaganda of social information.The paper studies the behavior of buying green cars in different propaganda conditions and gets the optimal combination of decreasing free riding behavior in buying green cars. It provides a sense of theory support for the enterprises and government to promote environmental friendly cars to buy.
