Multitask Scheduling In Aircraft Scheduling

Aircraft scheduling is an important link in production plan of Airlines, which directly influences flight cost and profit. It is a key point to reduce Airlines’ cost and improve Airlines’ operating efficiency and profit by scheduling aircraft scientifically, reasonably and efficiently. This thesis focuses on research of multitask dispatching technology in aircraft scheduling. By designing reasonable communication mechanism and dispatching strategy, the efficiency and quality of aircraft scheduling can be significantly increased.This thesis firstly introduces the resources, constraint condition and mathematical model that used to solve aircraft scheduling problem. Based on the research of Agent and Multi-Agent System(MAS) theory, a Multi-Agent System based on blackboard/information communication is designed. According to the rule of first come first served, load balancing and contract-net theory, the task dispatching of Multi-Agent System is achieved. Then referring to the system model that designed and using hybrid programming, an aircraft scheduling system is developed based on the platforms of Delphi2010, Matlab and SQL Server 2008. Finally, experiment shows that, compared to serial and parallel(with fixed task number) processing system, the operating efficiency of the scheduling model system using this scheduling strategy is significantly increased.
