This paper mainly analyzed the factors of Philippine Chinese business groups investing in China mainland since China’s reform and opening up,and use a typical research experienceand of Jinjiang hometown which as overseas Chinese, to carry out research through questionnaires and field interviews.The article is divided into three parts, the first chapter on the background of the Philippine Chinese businessmen to invest in mainland China, from the following three sections made brief review: improved relations between the Philippines and influence of China’s reform and opening policy; the development of Philippine Chinese economy and the special relationship with the Philippines and Jinjiang. With the second chapter questionnaire collected empirical data, analysis the process and features that Philippine Chinese businessmen invest in China.Chapter III on the basis of questionnaires and data compilation on field interviews, with the Chinese business networks, social capital theory and identity theory analysis, that the Chinese business network has played a central role in the Philippines Chinese businessmen’s investment in mainland China. Since the emotional factor based on certain cultural identity is a catalyst to promote Chinese business investment, and social capital into economic capital by not only help build Chinese business networks, but also help promote a deeper identity. To some extent, the three part mutual promotion and mutual transformation, which verifies the main cultural mainstream view of academic community that Chinese businessmen to invest in mainland China is mainly with the economic interests, and supplemented by emotional factors.
