They And are mainly used for ship building, vessels and containers, boilers military industries, Medium and thick plates are the most important products of Shaoguan iron and steel group Co.,Ltd(SGIS), So it is very urgent to SGIS, whether now or future, to study marketing tactics of medium and thick plates.Through analyzing the basic conditions of SGIS, the outside market environment, characteristics of the market and so on,then through the SWOT analysis to know the competitive ability. On this basis, combination of the actual situation and relevant experience, this thesis puts forward the suitable contents of product tactics, price tactics, place tactics and promotion tactics,through research the marketing strategy of SGIS.SGIS –a famous medium and thick plates production enterprise, as the other Chinese steel enterprises, must break through restriction of traditional concept and idea, set up and improve innovation machanism, strengthen and improve capability so as to become an enterprise with powerful competitive edge.
