Research On Principal-agent Risk Problem Of State-owned Enterprise Executives In China

Recently in our country, investigations of several senior managers of state-owned enterprise on suspicion of corruption happened frequently, exposed the loopholes in management and insufficient in supervision and constraint in state-owned enterprises.Since the reform and opening, the state-owned enterprise of our country have reformed many times, and have remarkable achievements, but still there is some problems,such as low efficiency, loss of state-owned assets, several senior managers embezzling public funds, these problems are root in the principal-agent risk.Compared with the non-state-owned enterprises, state-owned enterprises in our country has its own particularity in principal-agent risk.It contains common causes such as information asymmetry, moral hazard and separation of ownership and management rights,as well as some special reason such as principal-agent chain is long, the owner absence and integration of government administration with enterprise.On the basis of deep understanding of the management system of state-owned enterprises and the principal-agent risk,we will identificate and evaluate the risk of state-owned enterprises through the principal-agent risk index, and take effective measures to avoid risks, ensure the steady and healthy development of state-owned enterprises.
