| With the breakthroughs of key technologies such as flexible processing, Circular Saw Blade manufacturing industry develops rapidly. As a result, Circular Saw Blade is more widely applied in architectural engineering, industrial decoration and power maintenance,the market demand is growing continually. However, in manufacturing industry, the production process of circular saw blade is different from ordinary products, it has some characteristics,including small volume but more varieties, various routes and complex production environment. Changing the existing traditional production methods is an urgent problem. So,the application of cell formation technology in circular saw blade production workshop has broad prospects.Cellular manufacturing system is a kind of innovation production technology, which can balance the economic and flexibility advantages of mass production and small batch production, it has the characteristics as ‘high efficiency, high flexible, high quality and low cost’. Cell formation is an important part as well as the core of cellular manufacturing. This article focus on the research and application of multi-objective cell formation problems in circular saw blade production workshop, the main content includes:Firstly, considered the various factors including production factors and human learning ability, this paper establishes a multi-objective cell formation model by applying the mathematical programming approach. And in this model, the minimum of logistics cost,equipment load penalty cost, equipment production cost and personnel operating time cost are taken as the objective function.Secondly, this paper introduces a numerical example and applies the genetic algorithm to solve the mathematical model of cell formation. In the process of algorithm, the ‘roulette wheel selection method’ and ‘elite individual reserve law’ are combined to make objective function rapid convergent. In the variation section of human assignment, the method of ‘joint variation’ is put forward to avoid the illegal solution.Finally, on the basis of detailed investigation and data analysis, this paper aims at the existing problems of a CSB production enterprise in Hangzhou and applies the cell formation technology in the workshop. The Actual improvement of the operating results shows that: the equipment operation cost, the total logistics cost, the equipment load penalty cost andpersonnel operating time cost are reduced, all the indexes are obviously under control. |
