Search On Strategies For Organic Agricultural Development Of Sishui County

Sishui county, located in the south central of Shandong, China, south of Taiyi mountainous and the territory is mountainous hilly, is one of the key agricultural countys of the province. Its industrial economy is underdeveloped, which bases on conventional agricultural economy. There is rich in natural resources, the forest coverage rate of 42%, Air, soil, water is no pollution, Suitable for the development of organic agriculture.This paper briefly introduced origin and content of organic agriculture, and described the development history, current status and prospect of organic agriculture from different levels. Sishui county has the great potential of developing organic agriculture considering the favorable conditions and the necessity of organic products. In this paper, took the organic industry development in Sishui county as the main object, Sishui county belongs to the warm temperate monsoon continental climate, annual average temperature between 13.4℃-14.8℃, the average annual rainfall between 650-820mm, annual sunshine hours in general 2360-2690 h, sunshine rate is 52%. Because the industry is underdeveloped, water pollution is very limited, the forest coverage rate is high, water resources is rich, the monitoring points of Sishui county soil strict quality control index of mercury, cadmium, arsenic, chromium of single pollution index, general index of lead, copper single pollution index of soil fertility, the indicators are suit for development of organic agriculture. This paper shows that organic agriculture in Sishui county is mainly organic sweet potato planting and processing and the leisure agriculture as represented by the Wanzi Park organic agriculture demonstration base, through looking into the Sishui county organic agricultural production and research status of organic agriculture industry.This study analyzed the restrictive conditions of the development of organic agriculture in Sishui county at the present stage, there is lack of overall planning, technical force is weak, the strength of the market exploitation deficiency. The social benefit, economic benefit and ecological benefit, organic agriculture of organic agricultural and the prospects for the development of organic agriculture in Sishui county economic development are discussed.On the basis of research, we draw the following conclusion:climate, soil and water conditions of Sishui county are qualified for the development of organic agriculture. Organic sweet potato planting area should increase to ten thousand mu within 5 years of development, and become the leading industry in Sishui county.According to the successful experiences of organic agriculture domestic and overseas combined with Sishui County’s advantages and disadvantages, This paper first put forward five countermeasures the of development of Sishui county organic agriculture:Speeding up the basic knowledge to raise social awareness of organic agriculture, promote the implementation of organic agriculture system of standardization.To establish the institutions dedicated to the management of the development of organic agriculture, and to develop long-term development plan to guide the work of the certification.Pay more attention to the training of professional and technical personnel.Providing preferential policies and strengthening the government support for organic agriculture.Increasing the intensity of invite investments.With the rapid development of organic agriculture, it will play more and more important role in the Sishui County’s national economic and social development.
