Research On The Economic Impact And Policy Of China’s New Energy Vehicle Industry

China’s traditional automobile industry is booming now, but it also brought a series of energy and environmental problems, which put forward higher requirements for the sustainable development of China’s automobile industry, this is now a difficult problem to be solved for our automobile industry. The development of new energy vehicles can alleviate the degree of dependence on oil and ensure China’s energy security, it can decrease the pollution of the environment at the same time. The new energy automotive industry chain is extension and expansion of traditional automotive industry, with battery, motor, electric control system and other components added to the traditional industry chain. How to clarify the position and role of new energy automotive industry in the whole industry chain, and find out the relationship between upstream industry chain, the middle and downstream of the industry is very important, the correct understanding of the new energy automotive industry characteristic and present situation is the key for the development of new energy automotive industry and it’s policies.Based on the extended national Input and Output Table of 2010, the "automobile industry" has been separated into "hybrid vehicle manufacturing industry", "electric vehicle manufacturing industry” and "traditional automobile manufacturing industry",then a new input and output table available. Through this new table, new energy vehicle manufacturing industry’s association effect with other industries has been studied.In the end, we propose some policy suggestions on the basis of industrial chain theory and policy instrument theory.
