Research On Supporting Policies For Manufacturing Industry Association In Nanhai District Of Foshan City

Manufacturing industry constitutes the foundation of a country’s economy and society,and is the embodiment of national comprehensive strength and international competitiveness.The 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly pointed out that we should accelerate the construction of building China into a manufacturer of quality and work faster to develop advanced manufacturing.In the process of promoting the rapid and healthy development of manufacturing industry,manufacturing industry associations play important roles in enhancing communication between government and enterprises,improving industry self-discipline and servicing enterprises.Nanhai District,as an important manufacturing city in Guangdong Province,has always attached great importance to the establishment and development of manufacturing industry associations in the region.In order to better cultivate industry associations in key areas and pillar industries in the region,enhance the overall strength of industry associations,enhance the management and service functions of industry associations,and to promote the growth of industry associations,Nanhai District has published corresponding supporting policies and adopted supportive measures.Good results have been achieved.This thesis summarizes and analyses the supporting policies for manufacturing industry associations in Nanhai District through literature research,questionnaire and interview survey and inductive summary.It is concluded that the implementation of government supporting policies enhances the ability of industry associations to undertake government functions,enhances the comprehensive strength of the industry associations,and indirectly promotes the development of industry.At the same time,through the in-depth study of support policies and the investigation of manufacturing industry associations,this paper also summarizes the shortcomings of support policies,such as limited coverage,cumbersome application process,limited categories and inadequate support,etc.It specifically puts forward suggestions and thoughts including intensifying support,widening coverage,increasing supported categories,and optimizing application process,etc,so the manufacturing industry associations can better utilize the supportive polices.Thus the bridging functions of associations can be fully unleashed,and management and service can be enhanced so as to promote the clustering and healthy development of industry in Nanhai.
