At present,about the trade facilitation has not yet been a unified world recognized standard definition.The WTO (world trade organization) to trade facilitation to give explanation is the international Commodity Exchange program between coordination and simplify (including but not limited to data collection, the process of Commodity Exchange between countries use action).Although the definition of the other statements are different, but the central idea is essentially the same:that is to speed up the circulation of resources between different countries at the same time, eliminate unnecessary trade links and trade procedures, to make it in harmony with the economic development.Low level of trade facilitation development is one of the factors affecting the growth of international trade, particularly lack of growth potential in the global economy at present stage, the market need to reduce, the low efficiency of the trade process as a kind of market entry barriers, by the attention of the world, every country want to establish a suitable for their own trading system, thereby reducing trade elements flow barriers between countries, in order to reduce the trade cost, so as to stimulate trade growth, China is no exception.This thesis mainly with Shanghai free trade zone as an example to research and development status of China’s trade facilitation in today’s global trade is more and more big, the analysis of the effect of trade facilitation to our country and the advantages and disadvantages, improve its area for improvement, to enhance our trade competitiveness of firms have a decisive role.In this paper, the concrete content is as follows:First to define the connotation of trade facilitation, in all the world organization of the development and evaluation methods were analyzed.Secondly construction process in the free trade area of Shanghai, trade facilitation measures, and then evaluate the effect of various trade facilitation measures to Shanghai FTA, points out the problems existing in Shanghai FTA.According to the above analysis of Shanghai FTA,put forward some suggestions about how to better promote trade facilitation, so come up with more better strategy to help Shanghai FTA get a better development.
