With the economic globalization and the development of science and technology, the supply chain management is playing a more and more important role in enterprise management. The newsboy problem is one of the most import problems of the supply chain management, more and more research results are achieved. In this thesis, we focus on the newsboy problem with ordering opportunities under multi-period between the supply chain members. We establish a coordination rule of the unsatisfied demand and unsold quantity that the retailer need to consider after the deal. Combined with bilevel programming, two models of two-echelon newsboy problem under multi-period are studied:the supplier with or without buy-back strategy. We design the corresponding algorithms through translating them into the single level programming. We analyze the impact of the scale parameters of two models on the planned initial inventory level. Different from the classic newsboy problem, the decision variable of the two models is the planned initial inventory level instead of the ordering quantity of each cycle. This thesis makes simulation experiments on the two models. On one hand the theoretical analysis is consistent with the numerical results, on the other hand we analysis the impact of the scale parameters of the two models on the optimal expected profit of the supplier, the retailer and the whole supply chain through the analysis and generalization on the numerical results. According to the simulation experiments, it shows that the two models which are set up in this thesis are reasonable and can be applied to practice.
