The Research Of New Occupational Farmers Professional Ethics

Since the reforming and opening, China’s economy develop rapidly, and the rural economy has undergone enormous changes. But comparing with the urban, the rural economy, culture and politics is relatively backward. This hinders the development of agricultural modernization seriously. We must promote the rural modernization to build a prosperous and harmonious society. In the process of building a new type of rural area, our government attached importance to the cultivation of occupational farmer, and emphasized on improving its professional ethics. Therefore, the government put forward a major strategic named "cultivate new occupational farmers", and the key of "cultivate new occupational farmers" is how to enhance the farmers’professional ethics. The professional ethics not only affects the realization of new occupational farmers’value, but also affects the harmonious development of new rural area.The paper analyzes a lot of documents and policies, and collects the relevant statistical data. Then it defined the new occupational farmer as a "cultural, skilled, good business, high quality" farmer, and described the characteristics of new occupational farmer in detail, and explained the importance of improving the occupational farmer’s professional ethics. After describing the achievements and problems of occupational farmers’ professional ethics, it analyzed the causes of the problem in accordance with the actual situation. Finally according to the specific circumstances of the present stage of our country, it proposed four recommendations to improve the professional ethics:improving the rural education system; improving the farmers own morality; strengthening farmers’market management quality; improving democracy and the legal quality of the farmers.
