Research On Development Strategy Of China’s Technology Insurance

High-tech insurance effectively reduces risks and costs faced by high-tech enterprises during their technological innovations. Therefore, relevant Chinese government organizations, such as Ministry of Science and Technology and China Insurance Regulatory Commission, have issued a number of policies and official documents to promote the development of high-tech insurance industry. This article reviews most quoted literature on high-tech insurance in China and foreign countries, summarizes the key problems encountered by high-tech insurance trial cities (including Beijing, Wuhan, Suzhou high-tech zone and Xi’an high-tech zone), and Shandong Province, presents to-the-point suggestions to the high-tech insurance industry in Shandong Province after referring to the actual status quo in China. This article mainly focuses on the following three research areas:(1) Research on the status quo of current trial cities of high-tech insurance. Based on reviews of domestic and international high-tech insurance states, the article does research on results of high-tech insurance development in the first-and-second-batch trial cities of China, including Beijing, Wuhan, Suzhou (high-tech zone) and Xi’an (high-tech zone). Meanwhile, it also analyzes in detail the development of insurance and high-tech insurance industry in recent years in Shandong Province.(2) Summarize the achievements and problems in the trial cities and analyze the reference significances of these experiences to the high-tech insurance industry of Shandong Province on basis of its own characteristics and current states.(3) Present suggestions to develop high-tech insurance in China. After analyzing the achievements and problems in trial cities and current status quo of high-tech insurance industry of China, the article poses suggestions to enhance the healthy future development of high-tech insurance in China and help realize technological innovations in China.
