Massive economy in Zhejiang has played a role which has more and more public concern in the economic development. It is a great innovation that was started by some non-state-owned and non-public enterprises which use the organization’s space and industrial features. Investigation and analysis of the characteristics of massive economy that generated and developed in Zhejiang as well as discussing the performance and the flaws is meaningful for planning industrial zones scientifically, optimizing the industrial structure and promoting rural industrialization and urbanization.It is a great reference for inland and western regions in China where private enterprises and non-public economic also exist.Similarly, the massive economic development and upgrade is placed in front of the academic and practical road as a obstacle to be moved. Additionally, our further study in specific industry clusters is still on the way, and so is the related practice whose targets still not clear.Thinking about industrial clusters has played an important part to promote regional economic development. This article analysis the Zhejiang Phenomenon by using a sample town, Mazhu Town belongs to Yuyao City where the massive economy holds very distinctive regional characteristics. With the view of the economy of competition and cooperation among the cluster industry, we can see how regional massive economy formate, develop, alternate and strengthen. By analyzing the process we will know the distribution, type and characteristics of Mazhu Town’s massive economy. Then we provide some proposals to upgrade the town’s economy with scientific and regional decision making. Eventually the analysis from the massive economic advantages to disadvantages will still help other regions in China.
