Technological progress is mainly from the introduction of technology and innovation. And for our country in developing countries, the introduction of technology is an important way to achieve technological progress. Studies have shown that the level of technology absorption determine whether the introduction of technology achievements into actual productive forces so as to promote economic growth to a certain extent, and human capital is the most important factor in the impact of changes in technology absorption level. China is vast, and has enormous level of development regional differences. So the study of the relationship between provincial human capital accumulation, technology absorb and economic growth to the promotion of balanced development of all regions of our country is important.Thesis use Chinese provincial panel data and panel metering method to analyze the link between human capital accumulation, promotion of the level of technology absorption and economic growth, and we make a number of suggestions based on empirical results:Chapter One, this paper describes the background and significance, the importance of human capital and technology absorption capacity, and then put forward the main content and the logical framework studied in this paper.Chapter two, it summarizes the related fields of classic and latest research results at home and abroad from two aspects: the relationship between human capital and economic growth, the relationship between technology-based absorption level of human capital and economic growth, and from the perspective of human capital in four measurement methods comments the lack of existing research.Chapter three, from the perspective of human capital input – output, it builds human capital evaluation system, and calculates human capital index using multi-index comprehensive method. We study comprehensively the relationship between human capital and economic growth based on the 2000--2013 panel data of 30 provinces and cities in China(except Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Tibet). Empirical studies show that:(1) there is a positive relationship between human capital and economic growth. Every human capital increase 1%, GDP will grow by 0.177 percent.(2)Output growth rate of human capital(0.177) was significantly greater than the impact of physical capital accumulation(0.131).(3) Technical progress is an important driver of economic growth. The fourth chapter, from the perspective of technology sources it builds technology absorption level evaluation system, and calculates the index of technology absorption level using factor analysis. It studies the effects of human capital accumulation level to technology absorption, and analyzes the link between three variables: human capital accumulation, level technology absorption and economic growth. Empirical studies show that:(1) Under the combined influence of technology absorption level, output of human capital contribution rate(0.176) is still greater than the physical capital accumulation effect on economic growth(0.131).(2) There is a positive relationship between human capital accumulation and technology absorption levels. Every 1% increase in human capital, technology absorption level will increase 0.257%. The coefficient of cross terms of human capital and technology absorption capacity is 0.022, much larger than its output level technology absorption elasticity coefficient 0.003, indicating that the significance of human capital in technology absorption into productivity.(3) Technology absorption level variables on economic growth in the smaller force. Raising the technological absorptive capacity to improve the technical level is not the main way through to improve their ability, and to innovate to improve the technical level is the key.The fifth chapter put forward suggestions to promote economic growth from the perspective of improving the level of human capital accumulation and technology absorption level.Chapter six, it summarizes the main conclusions of this paper and looks to the future research directions.
