With the promotion of the national economy, the medical industry development is very rapid and the requirements of customers for the medical service level are improved, which brings opportunities and challenges with the relevant enterprise. Medical equipment products as a component part of the health care industry have been developed. Medical device products are particular products which need strict quality management and higher need satisfaction. However, there are two problems to be solved that how to balance supply with demand of medical device products, and how to meet the lowest operating costs and the higher service level simultaneously.In order to improve the need satisfaction, the enterprise has to hold the higher inventory, and the more inventories would increase operating costs and reduce profits. So the enterprise needs to find a method to balance the inventory cost and service level.Joint inventory management is produced to solve this problem, which is an inventory management mode of information and risk sharing. It emphasizes that each enterprise in the supply chain shares demand information and makes inventory plan corporately to ensure the coordination of supply and demand. The JMI can alleviate the excessive amplification phenomenon caused by the non-transparent demand, and ensure the synchronicity of supply chain, at the same time also helps to improve supply chain efficiency.This article mainly proposes an inventory joint management cost model and profit distribution among each cooperative enterprise that is composed of a single supplier and multiple distributors, and applies it to the actual inventory management of a medical equipment manufacturing enterprises. First of all, the research background and research status at home and abroad are analyzed to points out the article research topic, and the basic theory and method we used are elaborated. Then, a two-stage supply chain is regarded as the research object to establish joint inventory management cost model, which combines with the characteristics of medical equipment products such as deterioration rate, service level constraints, and considers many uncertainty factors. After that, this paper chooses improved Shapley value method to cooperate the profit distribution after JMI, which considers equality, investment and risk factors. Finally, we choose an instance to validate the effectiveness of the model. PSO and MATLAB are used to solve the model and the results show that the joint management can not only reduce the total cost in the supply chain, but also makes the total profit promoted, to provide suggestions for the development of the enterprise inventory management.
