At present, with the rapid development of the economy of China, the living standard of the people in China raised up. To some extent, it leads to the higher purchasing power of Chinese customer, making China enter a new stage--Chinese consumers have gradually entered the luxury market and become one of the largest luxury consumer group in the world. However, over half of the luxury consumption happened outside China. In order to solve the problem, in this article, using dynamic and static research methods, combined with the theory and practice, summed up and summarized the reference, cause of the issue will be presented, some measures according to the analysis of the research and establishing multivariable linear regression model of consumption, from the point of the appreciation of RMB, level of income, tax rate, saving amount and more, finding out: income and savings are to promote the consumption of luxury goods abroad, although, the RMB appreciation has impact on luxury consumption abroad but it is not a major factor, however, China’s high tariffs contributes a lot to luxury consumption outflow.According to the results, the last part of the paper put forward some measures to promote the development of the Chinese economy and to alleviate the current situation--outflow of luxury goods consumption from the perspectives of tariff policy and brand building.
