The Necessity For China To Join The TPP

After the 21 st century, the regional economic integration was becoming to play more and more important role in the world economic pattern. Each Economies started to actively participate the progress of building regional economic integration. From the late 1990 s,many countries from the major economic regional in the world started to realize the importance of the regional integration, and they started to build theirs regional economy one after another, such as European Union, which have the highest level of integration and freedom, the North America which was led by America, and the Asian regional integration which was guided by China. But contrast with others, the Asian regional integration has so limit impact and lower level of integration. Both ASEAN and APEC have lots distance to the EU.Recent years, with the difficulties in the progress of WTO and APEC, every country around the Asian-Pacific had sign some other FTAs based on the consideration of theirs economic development and international trade, such as the contract between the ASEAN and China.The TPP agreement, which is the key point regional integration of my paper, was built by Singapore, New Zealand, Brunei and Chile in the early. On the November 4th, 2009,The American president Obama announced that America would participate the TPP negotiation on his travel in Asia, and made the TPP agreement was becoming the focal point of the world. Later, Australia, Peru and Vietnam also announced that they would join it one after another. On November 10 th, Japan took part in this agreement, pushed the TPP to the climax. In the end, the agreement was signed by 12 counties in February, 2016.TPP wants to attract most APEC member except China, so it will affect the Chinese international trade in a long term. Base on that, analyze about the TPP become more important to China, and this is the consideration for me to choice this topic. Hereinafter, I will introduce and analyze the TPP, and discuss two points:1, Predict the impact which the TPP agreement made to us.2, Try to analyze whether we need to join the TPP base on labour agreement.And then, in the end, I will try to provide some policy suggests and response in a macro view.
