| In recent years, with the deepening of globalization, China’s foreign direct investment is gaining momentum, a lot of real estate businesses who have strategic thinking have opened the horizons towards international operation roads and invest overseas. In 2014, Chinese investment in overseas commercial real estate exceeded domestic for the first time. To become the most popular investment destination, Europe attracted more than 5.5 billion US dollars of investment. London in 2014 attracted $ 4 billion investment topped the list again.In the case of such a large influx of Chinese enterprises swarm into overseas real estate market, there will be far-reaching significance and impact in examining the strategies Chinese real estate enterprises invest in the European and American countries’ direct investment.This paper reviews foreign investment theory, summarize results of previous studies and found that previous studies focus more on foreign direct investment in the macro, lack of research on this particular real estate industry.In this paper, the first chapter studies the basic theory of FDI in real estate. The second chapter introduces the investment process in the European and American countries’ real estate of the Chinese enterprises. In the third chapter, we briefly describes the location choice, investment patterns and investment motives of China’s real estate business in the recent period. The fourth chapter studies the problems of Chinese enterprises in investing the real estate of European and American countries. The fifth chapter studies the strategic positioning, target market selection and market entry model of Chinese real estate business investment in the UK by the method of case study, designed to provide guidance for Chinese enterprises to invest in real estate the UK. At the same time, providing an important reference for Chinese enterprises in the real estate investment of European and American countries. |
