Study On Development Of Equipment Manufacturing And Producer Service In The View Of Collaborative Development

Producer service is important in assisting equipment manufacturing in developing into an advanced and intelligent industry. Collaborative development happens when several industries act on each other and finally unite as a system of positive interaction. Therefore, the study on development of Liaoning’s equipment manufacturing and producer service based on the view of collaborative development is valuable in theory and reality.The present literatures are sorted, and the relevant theories and research findings are discussed. The coupled model is used to evaluate the collaborative development between equipment manufacturing and producer service from 2004 to 2014. There are two ways of evaluations, which are benchmark evaluation and period evaluation. Coordinative degree C and collaborative degree D are the bases of the benchmark evaluation. Coordinative degree C reflects the mutual influence of factors in the two subsystems and how these factors co-promote the collaborative development of the total system. Collaborative degree D revises the fake coordination of coordinative degree C, so that it reflects the collaborative development of total system more scientifically. It shows that the coordinative degree C stays in high level, while the collaborative degree D shows a trend from low to high. According to the value of collaborative degree D, the collaborative development of equipment manufacturing and producer service is divided into disorder stage, transition stage and collaboration stage. Features of each stage are analyzed considering the situations in Liaoning province during these years to conduct period evaluation.It is proved that in Liaoning province, equipment manufacturing and producer service are driven by each other alternately. Strong production capacity, qualified labor force and sufficient R&D expenditure are the dominated factors that affect the two industries’collaborative development, but the stimulations of each industry are different. During 2004 and 2014, the collaborative development of the two industries has experienced three stages. It turns out that, the two industries’ collaborative development has received impressive results, and producer service has become the leading force of the collaborative development. However, the policy lag and the unreasonable product structure of producer service have caused the negative factors in the procedure of collaborative development, and the collaborative development between the two industries still needs to be improved.Five suggestions are proposed according to the achievements of the study. Firstly, it is suggested that the top-level design of the industries’development be enhanced. Make the way of collaborative development between equipment manufacturing and producer service in Liaoning province clear, and update the guiding policies timely. Secondly, adjust the development focus of the industries to optimize their structure. Thirdly, new demands should be developed, so that stock would be reduced and the capacity of the two industries would be ensured. Fourthly, the advantages of education and scientific research in the province should be made full use of to create the industry-university-research development alliance of Liaoning province. At last, the inter-relate integration of industrial clusters’should be built to help the two industries step into the excellent stage of collaborative development.
