In modern England, the Levant Company was incorporated through three charters granted in 1592,1600 and 1605. As regards the development of studies on the topic, Chinese scholars paid little attention to it; foreign scholars paid some attention to it, but they did not concern themselves with the incorporation of the Levant Company. Therefore, the topic is still worth studying further.The predecessor of the company is the Turkey Company chartered in 1581 and the Venice Company chartered in 1583. After the two company’s charters expired, the modern British Levant Company had been set up, and disintegrated in 1852, when the British government withdrew charters, the modern British Levant Company was established, and successively obtained by the king in 1592,1600 and 1605, issued by the three copies of the charter. Through this three charter, the company has established its corporate. Under the company body, modern Levant Company not only won the uniform name and seal, and established a series of trade organization about internal management and external maintenance. The company’s trading activities are also under this framework.In this paper, besides introduction and conclusion, the main content is divided into 4 basic parts are the predecessor of the Levant Company, the Levant Company earning charters, the organizational structure and historical influence of the Levant Company.In the preface, this paper explains the foundation of the topic, discriminates the key conception and core professional term, combs the domestic and foreign studies on legal person problems of the Levant Company, introduces some original documents of this paper and clarifies the theory and method of the author’s research and the main contents.The first chapter expounds the predecessor of the Levant Company.they are the Turkey Company chartered in 1581 and the Venice Company chartered in 1583, as well as their respective trade situation.which connects the trade between the UK and the Levant region and lays the foundation for the establishment of the Levant Company.The second chapter is about the Levant Company earning charters, focusing on its establishment and deepening process of becoming corporate through three documents of original charter in 1592,1600 and 1605, combing the development orders of the three charters and former and after skeleton of this problem. All three charters provides the corporate of the company and they are come down in one continuous line and keep improving. Actually, three charters are the products of the struggle and compromises between businessmen and the king,The third chapter explains organizational structure of the Levant Company, mainly about as a trade corporate, its rights and obligations after obtaining corporate, the key members including managers, agents, and assistants.In addition, it also expounds the relationship between corporate and members after obtaining corporate.The fourth chapter is about the historical influence of the Levant Company, aiming to illuminate the influence on British regional trade, company system and social transformation. The Levant Company not only became an important tool for oceanic trade between the British and the Levant, but also promoted the British overseas colonial expansion. At the same time, as a successful case, it provided the blueprint for other British domestic companies, and the most direct performance is the British East India Company. Meanwhile, it had certain influence on capital primitive accumulation and increasing of merchants’rights in Britain, greatly promoting the social transformation in modern England.The conclusion part of this paper aims to summarized the problem of obtained the corporate body for the Levant Company.
