England is the first industrialized country in the modern world.In the process of its rise,the economic development has shown obvious regional characteristics.The south-west England is a relatively independent geographical unit in the west of England.It is one of the most important agricultural economic zones in the middle ages.In the transition from traditional agricultural society to modern industrial society in England,the southwest region has experienced the continuous development and transformation from the traditional agricultural area to the rural woolen area and the commercialized agricultural area.This development and change is a reflection and a microcosm of the development of economic and social changes throughout the country.The text includes four chapters:The first chapter,discusses the geographical scope and natural conditions of the south-west England.The second chapter,from the middle of the 11th century to the 14th century,During this period,the region is the main agricultural and livestock husbandry economic zone in England,its land system and rotation mode has its own characteristics,agriculture and livestock husbandry economy has been more developed,the rural woolen industry has started and the rise of the city,which are the basic appearance of southwest of agriculture and livestock husbandry.The third chapter,from the middle of the 14th century to the beginning of the 17th century,this period is differentiation period of the southwest economic zone of agriculture and pastoral husbandry economy,and is the region's economic development of the golden age.In this period,the economy has undergone a transformation,the manor system has been disintegrated,many villages have been abandoned,farming and pastoral husbandry combined to form a certain scale enclosure movement;rural industry has a greater development,become the most prosperous areas of pre-industry;urban functions change and begin to enter the stage of urban modernization,more and more commercial,professional and open.England's economy has gradually spread from the dispersion to integration and formed the domestic market led by London.The fourth chapter,from the beginning of the 17th century to the middle of the 19th century,this period,due to various reasons at home and abroad,rural wool industry decline and people begin to explore the new direction of economic development,and gradually explore the new direction of economic development,and gradually embark on a commercial agricultural road.The process of urbanization is slower,but also slowly in the forward,frequent contacts within the region,and the organic links of surrounding areas are further enhanced.The conclusion part integrates the development of the south-west England from the 11th to the 19th centuries,and expounds the universal revelation of the transformation road in the area from the macroscopic point of view.
